Senior Design Lab

The AOE Department Design Laboratory serves as a design resource center and computer lab for senior design (AOE 4056 and 4066) and other design activity. While all students have their own computers, the Design Lab provides access to specialized design and CAD software. The lab also has large format printers that can be used for design drawings.

The AOE Design Lab also provides a place for students to gather when working on their design projects. This complements our approach to design education in which students are required to work in industry-like teams, better preparing them for their engineering careers.

The AOE Design Laboratory has proved its value in contributing to the success of many of our students' design projects in national and international design competitions.
