Career Fair Resources for Employers
Virginia Tech offers excellent engineering programs that prepare students with strong academic credentials for impactful careers in the fields of Aerospace, Defense, and Intelligence. This Career Fair is designed to showcase your company while providing a professional setting to meet with these students for potential internship, co-operative, and/or full-time employment opportunities.
Tuesday, September 28: The Aerospace, Defense, and Intelligence Career Fair will run from 10 am - 4 pm EST in the Commonwealth Ballroom on campus at Virginia Tech. Employers will have the option to meet with students, acquire their resume and schedule interviews for Day 2 or at a later date on the platform of their choice.
Wednesday, September 29: Employers will have the option to stay and interview select students. Booths will be refitted for an interview setting, and the Ballroom will be open from 10 am - 2 pm.
Wednesday, September 29: The virtual portion of the Aerospace, Defense, and Intelligence Career Fair will run from 10 am - 2 pm EST on the online platform Brazen. Employers will be allowed an unlimited number of recruiters to interact via text or video chat with students in their 'booth'.
Option 1: Registration for the 2021 Career Fair is $800 per company. Fees include one company showcase booth for the in-person portion of the career fair on Tuesday, September 28 as well as breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks/refreshments for recruiters. Individual (optional) interviews may be held in your booth on Wednesday, September 29. *
Option 2: Registration for the virtual event on Wednesday, September 29 is $300 per company. This fee includes one company showcase 'booth' via the online platform Brazen. Due to the virtual format, employers will be able to have an unlimited number of recruiters to text/video chat with students in their booth.
*For an additional $100 fee, employers participating in the in-person event on Tuesday will have the option to also have a booth during the virtual event on Wednesday.
In an effort to provide optimal access to our students, the employer space is limited to approximately 35 companies. Register today to reserve your spot!
Once officially registered for the 2021 career fair, we will provide employers with further information, including detailed schedules, hotel information for the in-person event; and training materials and information on setting up your booth in Brazen for the virtual event.
Cancellation before September 1, 2020: full refund. September 2 - September 21, 2020: a $100 administrative fee will be retained for cancellations. After September 21, 2020: no refunds. In the unlikely event that this program is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, the university will fully refund registration fees, but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges assessed by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations. Refunds will not be granted in the event you experience technical issues or delays during the virtual event.
