Ryan Brewer, a Systems Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation, is recognized for his rapid professional growth and leadership in national security space systems. With fewer than four years of experience, he has led critical technical efforts and established a strong reputation among government stakeholders for dependability, insight, and engineering excellence.

After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2021 Brewer joined the FAA office of NextGen. He worked there for two years, in the final year he managed two portfolios; Labs and Commercial space to 95% on time delivery of products. In 2023 he joined the Aerospace Corporation where he works for the company’s Project West Wing division. His work helps in building an understand of the changing environment to support government customers.

Brewer successfully turned around the NASA Landsat Next project by applying systems engineering and leadership principles. He developed strategic recommendations and improved team coordination, leading to the on-time delivery of critical deliverables. His work has earned commendations from leadership for his initiative, dependability, and impact.
