Jama Green is the Communications Manager for the Kevin T. Crofton Department of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering. Chances are, if you’ve attended a tailgate, banquet, career fair or commencement event sponsored by the AOE department, you’ve seen her greeting guests, taking photos, and working behind the scenes to keep the program running on schedule.

Day to day, she elevates the reputation of our department, faculty and students via storytelling across multiple platforms - writing stories, newsletters and emails, handled media relations, photography/video, social media and websites. As self-appointed ‘brand police’, she keeps the department’s print and digital presence aligned with the University and College’s brand standards, and designs  all promotional materials, banners, recruitment collateral and event signage.

Ms. Green has more than 25 years experience in video production, public relations, marketing and communications. She holds a B.A.A. in Broadcast & Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University.
