During his academic career and his work in industry at Grumman, William H. Mason gathered decades of insight from his own research and from colleagues across the field. He shaped this knowledge into lecture notes that guided generations of students. Now, on what would have been his 79th birthday, his notes are being shared openly with a wider community. Join us in celebrating Mason’s enduring legacy in aerodynamic design, and the release of his 443-page open textbook, Lecture Notes on Configuration Aerodynamics.
