AOE Current Thesis Topics:
The Department of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering at Virginia Tech has 19
faculty working in aero/hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, dynamics and
control, and multidisciplinary design optimization. All faculty are actively
engaged in our broad research program by advising M.S.and Ph.D students.
The Department has extensive facilities including world class wind-tunnels,
water tunnels, structural test equipment, computer systems and a full-scale,
full-motion flight simulator for the graduate students to work on. You can
