Composites Fabrication Laboratory
This facility is maintained by the Center For Composite Materials and Structures, and has a walk-in
freezer for material storage, environmentally controlled clean room with cutting and lay-up tables,
and has instructional and research rooms. Equipment includes an autoclave, hot presses, desiccators,
precision diamond slitting saw, prepreg stitching machine, vacuum ovens, and many other items used in
the fabrication of advanced composite material components.
