Come learn about your career opportunities as a graduate student in the College of Engineering at Virginia Tech. Events include lab tours, meetings with faculty and students, and professional development discussions to guide you in your choices for graduate school.

Who Should Attend:

If you are interested in learning about graduate school opportunities, make plans to join us for this event. Whether you are an undergraduate interested in learning more about graduate school, a current graduate student interested in learning about additional opportunities, or a practicing professional interested in the possibility of returning to a graduate program, our recruiting forum and professional development events will have information that will help guide you in your decisions.

About the Optional Workshop (Saturday afternoon, September 24, 2011):

During this hands on workshop, students will complete graduate school applications, continue to further develop their personal statements and résumés with the help of trained writing mentors. Further discussion and strategies will be addressed concerning funding opportunities and the GRE. We ask participants to bring a laptop to the retreat. Free internet access will be provided.
