The AOE Trouble-Ticket System provides faculty, staff and students with a fast and efficient procedure to file their computing trouble issues, and receive attention from the computing staff in a timely manner. This manual has been created for first-time users to get acquainted with the system. Happy trouble-ticketing!

New Trouble Ticket
To create you new trouble-ticket, please fill out the form as accurately as possible. The sender has been fixed to your name, but you can change your email address if necessary. Select an area from the menu that best relates to your problem. Select a priority. Give a brief title of your problem and then write down the problem’s description. If you have a Due date, check the box and select the day, month & year. Click Submit when you are done. If you decide you don’t want to enter a new ticket at this time, just follow the link “Back to Index”.

New Trouble-Ticket Confirmation
Once you submit the new trouble-ticket, you will be presented with the confirmation page, where all features of the problem are presented. Now you can follow the link “Back to Index” and you’ll see your trouble ticket in the list of entries.

Index: List of entries
Now this page is not empty anymore. Every time you log into the Trouble-Ticket system, you will be taken to the Index, where you will see all the entries you have posted. This lets you follow their status, as experts will add comments until your problems are solved.
The “Show details” and “Add” link of each trouble ticket allow you to write comments yourself.
When you have accumulated more than 10 tickets, new bottons will appear to make navigation easier. Look for arrow buttons to move from page to page (each will contain 10 tickets at most), or use the "List Trouble-Tickets" button to perform a search on your tickets.

Show trouble-ticket
In this page, you will be able to see all details regarding your trouble-ticket, as well as add comments of your own (maybe as a response to an expert’s comment regarding your problem, or as an update on the problem). Write your comment and submit it, and you will be taken back to the Index where your new comment has been added.
