Clinton Plaisted Class of 1999 | 2006-03-20 I presently work (Jan 2004-now) on Expendable Launch Vehicles (ELV) as a Flight Controls Engineer at a.i. solutions, Inc. in the Launch Services Program, Mission Analysis Branch at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. My job here includes mission analysis for integration of spacecraft to launch vehicles, certification of ELV flight control systems, and day-of-launch flight control operations (e.g. on-console for winds). I'm a Lifetime Senior Member of AIAA (Chair of Central Florida Section) and a member of IEEE (and the IEEE/Control System Society Technical Committee on Aerospace Controls). My wife Gretchen and I live in Orlando, FL.

Had alot of fun, but decided to pursue alternative career interests. Following my passions, I accepted Temple University's offer to study Sport and Exercise Psychology and obtain a teaching assistantship. I will receive a Master's of Education in Sport and Exercise Psychology which is really "Performance Psychology" based. I hope to work with not only athletes, but also with the corporate/military industry on how to enhance one's performance in the workplace. Everything we do is 80% mental! I am currently trying to work with the Navy on "how to better mentaly prepare aircrew for survival situations". |

Korin Strome Class of 2001 | 2003-10-21 My first assignments with ExxonMobil were offshore installation projects concentrated in the Gulf of Mexico. I then worked on planning efforts for projects off the West Coast of Africa and recently completed a 6 month rotation assignment as a field engineer working offshore Equatorial Guinea on installation vessels performing subsea work. I am now living and working in Singapore on a year and half assignment as the Area Construction Coordinator for the projects ExxonMobil is building in Singapore and Malaysia. The projects consist of Offshore platforms, jackets, topsides and ships. |
