AOE Satisfactory Progress Towards Degree
University Policy 91 outlines university-wide minimum criteria to determine whether students are making satisfactory progress towards t$
Specific expectations for satisfactory progress for Aerospace and Ocean Engineering majors are outlined below:
- Each student must meet the minimum university-wide criteria as described in Policy 91 and summarized in the
Undergraduate Course Catalog and Academic Policies Catalog.
Additionally
- After attempting 72 credit hours:
AE students must have satisfactorily completed AOE 2074 and AOE 3104
OE students must have satisfactorily completed AOE 2074 and AOE 3204
- After attempting 98 credit hours:
AE and OE students must have satisfactorily completed 24 credit hours of in-major courses
and have 2.0 overall and in-major GPAs
Students who are identified as not making satisfactory progress towards their degrees will be placed on academic probation by the
College of Engineering and must comply with the College.s procedures for continued enrollment.
This standard was reviewed and approved by the AOE Faculty on February 9, 2007.
